Steve trained at the prestigious Samuel Beckett Centre at Trinity College, Dublin and worked as an actor for many years in the UK and Ireland. Steve has taught Acting and Lamda for over 28 years in both the UK and his native Ireland. Steve has written and directed countless productions for children and young people and has entered scores of young people for accredited Lamda examinations. The majority of candidates have achieved Distinction or Merit and some have gained valuable UCAS points. Steve is listed on the directory of Lamda teachers.
Steve has huge experience working with children and young people and as well as being an acting teacher has a degree in Psychology and is studying for a Masters in Psychodynamic studies. He is also a committee member of the Open University Psychological Society. Steve lives in Lee with his wife Marianne and three children who all attend classes at Threshold.

Marianne gained a first class honours degree in Drama and Dance at Crewe and Alsager College, going on to post grad acting training at Drama Studio London. Marianne has worked as an actress in the UK and Ireland for many years appearing in leading UK and Ireland rep theatres in leading roles. Marianne has also appeared in many TV and film productions.

Rebecca has been teaching theatre and dance for over 8 years and teaches for private arts academies all over London. She also owns and operates her own Baby Ballet company. She started performing &studying at a local theatre at the age of six, continued her dramatic studies throughout high school and went on to attend California State University, Fullerton from where she graduated with her BFA in Acting, with an emphasis in classical ballet and musical theatre. After graduating she spent some time in Los Angeles before deciding to return to England to continue pursuing her acting and dancing career. She is incredibly passionate about her art and loves to share that passion with others, whether through performance, private tutoring or teaching at workshops.
