Steve Nealon (BSC, Hons, MBPsS) Director and Main Agent.
Steve was born into the entertainment industry being the son of well known Irish actor, Des Nealon and choreographer Bernie Keogh. Steve took his first professional role at the age of 8 at the Gate Theatre, Dublin under the direction of esteemed director Hilton Edwards. After his schooling, Steve trained as an actor at the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College, Dublin. Working as an actor in Ireland and the UK for twenty years, Steve also spent many years working as an agent at actor's co-operatives ANA and Park Management. Steve also spent three years working in advertising sales for magazines at Nexus Media but magazines targeting the dental industry began to make his teeth grind. So Steve set up acting school Threshold Theatre Arts in 2007 and began to represent children for work in the entertainment industry and soon afterwards started to represent adults. Steve Nealon Associates began trading the following year and has been growing ever since. Steve is also a keen writer and director and has written and directed many shows for children and young people. Steve also has a degree in Psychology and is a committee member of the Open University Psychological Society.
